I must apologise for the time it has taken me to contact you, but I seem to have so much running about to do and I don't know where the time has gone. Everyone who attended the service commented how nice and personal it was so thank you once again.
On a lighter note I have booked an appointment with Roberts to pre pay for my funeral and I told them the response to your service ie how everyone said how nice it was, so Natalie said I will book Una for your funeral, I laughed and said I hope Una has retired before I need a celebrant but I am sure you are down for it.” "

Our Hearts Lifted

“““… I had plans of sending you a card at least for the beautiful way you handled my brother’s story and for your support. Many people said afterwards that xxx’s life was captured perfectly, interesting and sometimes exciting stories yes but also that core of kindness and altruism that ran through him. To celebrate a person’s life in half an hour is quite a task but you did it with just the right lightness so that we could leave the room with our hearts lifted a little. Thank you also for encouraging me to read out the poem, it was difficult physically (and did you hear my heart alarm go off shortly afterwards! 🫣😂) but I am so glad I did, it helped me say goodbye to my big brother. From the moment you answered my slightly panicked phone call to the final words you lifted a huge pressure off me, and my Dad keeps saying how perfect the funeral was, it gave him great comfort. You did all this while having pressures of your own. So thank you, a sincere and grateful thank you (and for the card which is still up). My kindest and warmest wishes to you”.

(I was so relieved when you even included Gladys's neighbour Jean in the eulogy when she turned up unexpectedly). It was so special for her and me and showed the unique connection and personal touch you achieve for your customers. You took me/the family under your wing and guided me/us every step of the way. I will always appreciate and thank you for that. Gladys is at peace, and I can remember the day with sadness and also lots of good memories, thanks to you."

"I am sending you these few words to say a heartfelt thank you from myself and my family for the beautiful service which you conducted for my beloved xxx. Your words were spoken from the heart but also in a most professional manner. The service was commented on by many of the mourners. It was faultless and touched the hearts of many of our family and friends. You are a credit to your profession.
Life is slowly resembling a little more normality for us all, but as with any loss of a loved one it will take time to come to terms with. Thank you also for the card with the little poem about the robin. My husband loved robins and he often had one of them perched on the garden bench where he used to work so it was very fitting. I thank you again for all you did for us, and you have my gratitude and my best wishes."

"My Mum and I wanted to email to say thank you for the lovely service yesterday. So many people have been in touch who watched the webcast, and everyone who was there made a point of saying, what a good send off it was. We really appreciated your dedication to providing a fitting tribute to my dad. You took such care to really try to get to know the kind of person he was when you came to see us (and on a Saturday, too!) and distilled it into a great eulogy. Everything was seamless and we felt so well looked after and in safe hands. Lots of people commented on how much they admired your delivery and manner, with a lovely balance between the funny stories about my dad and the very sombre occasion. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness throughout the whole process. Lots of people said xxx couldn't have had a better send off, and we agree! As my cousin said, "He'd have loved it. Shame he had to miss it." We really feel it was what my dad wanted, and we're grateful for all your efforts to make that happen. You even secured good weather! "We would just like to say thank you again for conducting mum’s funeral yesterday, everyone agreed it was a lovely service and when I spoke to mum’s best friend, Jenny last night she and another friend who watched it in Kent both agreed that it was one of the best services they have seen and that was mainly down to you, so thank you again for helping us give mum the send off she deserved, I believe it was exactly how she would have wanted it. "My now husband had lost his dad and Una was the lovely celebrant who took the service.

Fast forward a year and we got engaged and found a venue. To our surprise, Una was the recommended, and only, celebrant whose details the venue provided us with. After a conversation, my now husband decided that it was meant to be to have Una preside over our day, as if in some way, his dad would be present. It really was the best decision.

Una was professional whilst always being approachable and courteous to our wants and wishes. Una was able to make our day beyond special. Her attention to detail and listening abilities, to her suggestions, one of which [was] the tie banding, which we used, our guests fed back to us how much they loved and had never seen before.
